What's coming up...

This week—8/30-9/5

  • Middle School League orientation will be on September 1st here at the salle at 6:00 pm. This is mandatory for any fencer who has not been in the league before, and highly recommended for those who have been a part of the league.
  • We will be CLOSED on Friday and Saturday, September 3-4, 2010. No classes or lessons.

Next week—9/6-9/12

  • We will be CLOSED on Monday, Sept. 6, 2010. No classes or lessons.
  • Intro 2 will start a new session on Tuesday, Sept. 7 from 6:30-8:30 pm. Class runs for 4 weeks.
  • A brand NEW Basic Foil Skills class will begin on Sept. 10th from 7-8 pm for Adults only (age 18+). Inquire about contracts if you are interested in joining this class.

In the next few weeks...

  • Middle School Fencing League first practice and gear check-out on Sept. 13th. Gear check-out begins at 3 pm, and practice runs from 4-5 pm. Bring all your paperwork and league fees to get started.
  • A new Intro 1 session begins on September 13th (through Nov. 1st). Cost is $90. Tell your friends - there are only two spots left! Lots of adults already signed up.

Upcoming major events

  • Our first tournament of the season is on Sept. 25th - "Get Schooled, Get a Cookie" with Novice Foil, Novice Sabre, and D & Under Epee. Register on Ask Fred.
  • Middle School Fencing League Championships is on November 13th at Parrish Middle School.
