We have two regulation pistes on our beautiful suspended floor, which was custom-built during 2005 from reclaimed maple flooring from the old Eagles Lodge dance floor. All labor was done by SCF volunteers. Your feet and knees will really appreciate our floor!

Our salle d'armes opened on May 25, 2004. It is located in what was originally a lumber sales building. We are at 354 Belmont Street NE, which is at the corner of Belmont and Liberty in Salem's north downtown area. Our 100-year-old building has more than 2,000 square feet of high-ceilinged light and airy space devoted to the study of fencing, with another 1,500 square feet of office space, dressing rooms, additional classroom space, and overflow fencing areas.

Inside the main classroom space, we have installed an overhead reel-less system on one strip and a floor cord setup on the other for electrical fencing. We proudly use Virtual Scoring Machines for scoring during practice and tournaments. Fencers can use our student armory for repairing both electrical and dry weapons.

Our facilities also include men's and women's dressing rooms, a microwave oven, a refrigerator/freezer, filtered cold water, restrooms, and plenty of off-street parking.

Our salle is the first single-purpose fencing studio in the Willamette Valley. It is one of the very few dedicated fencing spaces in Oregon outside of Portland (most fencing clubs rent space by the hour at a local school or community center). We are able to hold all of our classes and several of our annual tournaments in our space.

Lunging pads for practice at all three weapons, including masks for sabre practice.
